Proa

Proa is a development of 45 semi-detached homes in Castillo de Lagos, on the eastern Costa del Sol — a natural balcony above the Mediterranean in the municipality of Vélez-Málaga, where the Axarquía coast enjoys one of the mildest winter climates in mainland Europe.

The houses are laid out as 3-bedroom homes stepped into the topography of the site and oriented south-east, south and south-west to make the most of the daylight and the open sea views. Built areas run from roughly 247 to 310 m², each with a private terrace of between 68 and 108 m², a private garden and its own surface parking.

Interiors are delivered with a fitted kitchen including oven and fridge, ducted air conditioning and heating, a laundry room, built-in wardrobes and an en-suite master bedroom. Throughout the design, outdoor space is treated as an extension of the home rather than an addition to it.

The community shares a swimming pool and landscaped gardens. Proa holds an A rating for both energy consumption and emissions, along with Metrovacesa’s domum sustainability seal and a green building certification, with aerothermal hot water, ducted climate control and high-efficiency equipment throughout.
